Saltbox is a five piece alternative-rock band from Baltimore, Maryland, with members consisting of Trevor Atkinson, Ryder Taylor, Maisie Rehkemper, Kai Gibbons, and Mel McIntonsh. Formed in March 2024, it started when guitarists Trevor Atkinson and Kai Gibbons turned what began as a casual high school jam project into something much more serious once they realized how well they worked together.

Their music draws from a wide range of rock influences, but it never feels scattered. The band’s sound is shaped by strong guitar work, steady rhythms, and an emotional depth that gives each song its own character. Every member adds something unique, and that combination creates a style that feels both fresh and consistent.
